Our Design/Production Procedures

Pre-Production

Consultation:

Free initial consultation - We have an initial meeting or phone conversation to determine the main goals of your website and gather information on your target audience. We will discuss your ideas on the appearance of the site as well as its functionality.  This helps us to realise your expectations of the website design.  We explain the technologies involved in the more complex designs using plain language and offer pricing packages on the variations we discuss. Other issues such as site structure and navigation can be decided and an initial site plan proposed.  To make it easy for you to assess your design needs and ideas we provide a Planning Guide.

Quotation:

Based on our initial meeting we will collate all information and present any of our design ideas to you.  Once all aspects of the structure and design have been agreed we will provide you with a design proposal and written quotation. 

Planning:

Content is collated and structured to provide simple website navigation.  Extra content can be discussed and the site map may be altered at this stage to improve delivery of information to potential browsers.

Website domain names are decided and registered.  Website hosting solutions are discussed and implemented.

 

Production

Design and Development:

Once the content, structure and website plan have been finalised production will begin.  A project manager will be assigned to your development and will provide you with ongoing updates.  They will also be available to help you with any technical questions or queries you may have during the production stage.

-  A draft is drawn up for your approval.
-  All resources required for the project are collated or produced.
-  We design the site with ongoing consultation and testing. 

Publishing:

Once the website design and production have been completed and the project meets your approval it will ‘go live’.  The website will go online with your choice of web hosting partner.

 

Post Production

Website CD Copy:

You will be sent a back-up copy of your website on CD and will receive an instruction manual to guide you and help you maintain your site (if using a content management system).

30 Days Free Support:

It can be daunting when taking control of a website for the first time especially if you have little experience.  That’s why we provide you with 30 days support, to advise you and answer any questions you may have regarding the running and maintenance required.

Maintenance and Updates:

If your website requires regular maintenance, for example content updates.  Our team at Unique Streak offer great deals to our existing customers.  Maybe you fancy a change of design or a new company logo.  Maintenance plans are tailored to your specific needs to keep costs down.
